Within minutes walking or driving there is a host of things to explore and enjoy. Some of our guests simply park their car and do everything on foot whilst staying at Rockham.
Short walks take you the Coastal Path, with which you can reach many beautiful beaches, coves, cliffs and views across to the lovely island of Lundy. In less than an hour you could be enjoying the beach at Woolacombe or even the popular town of Ilfracombe.
You could hire a bike from the village of Braunton and use the Tarka Trail - and don't worry it largely follows the old railway line so it's nice and level.
The rugged Exmoor countryside, including the Lorna Doone valley are just a few miles away where you can be much more adventurous. You can also go to the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth - but look out for the goats
